    See my just prior reply.

As for the ISP’s cable line, since your MoCA network will only be present on the “OTA” coax, you won’t need a MoCA filter anywhere on the “cable” coax side. You just need the filter installed on the “OTA” side, per the previous post.

    Once everything’s connected per above...
    • Access the BOLT’s network setup screen and enable MoCA, configuring the BOLT as a bridge.
    • You can then go to the Mini, pull its Ethernet cable, and then configure the Mini as a MoCA client.
Dog willing... the Mini should get a network connection, after which you can try a service connection, access the BOLT, stream via an Internet service, etc.

You can also check the Mini’s MoCA statistics via its network status page.

    FYI...
Did you disconnect the Ethernet cable from the Mini?

Have you tried doing a factory reset of the Mini? (“Clear & Delete Everything”...but only the Mini)

Addl past remedy: rename the DVR and force a couple service connections. Once complete, reboot the Mini and rerun Guided Setup on the Mini.

p.s. You might also try the “force 2 connections and reboot” suggestion for the DVR:

I was able to get it all set up and running. Per the parallel thread I got the Mini to see the Bolt.
I used the splitter, one coax to the Mini and one to the Tivo Bolt. Used the Bolt as a MoCa bridge and finished the set up. Then ran guided set up on the Mini and the MoCa network is up and running.

    Thanks for all the help.
