If I purchase a premiere on ebay, can I add Lifetime Product Service (from tivo.com) at the Multi-Service Discount pricing?

Should I even gamble on a used premiere?

Actually as cheep as they were in the stores $79 I would not take the chance. Quick trip to best buy and purchase the life time online. Done.

    Denver ish...
I agree that at $79 new with warrantee, it would be silly to buy a used one and put lifetime on it.

I agree. Don't buy Lifetime on a used TIVO. Check the sales tax. In Calif., TIVO will charge sales tax on $300 or about $26 on a $99 Premier. Best Buy in Calif. may do the same. With Amazon, you may not even pay sales tax. But this depends on the state you live in ... just saying to check out what the sales tax would be on each purchase. There should not be any sales tax on the Lifetime. But check that too.

Love my Premiers. I think they are the TIVO sweet spot right now.
