I was told by support that once I upgraded the software on all of the devices that I would get 4k. I bought (2) Bolt+'s and 15 Mini because of 4k support about 6 months. I have all brand new TV's and the 4k is rendered useless except on the TV's that have the Bolts attached. Was I given bad advice?

    15 Minis ?!?! That's a typo, right?

If not, you'll quickly become familiar with TiVo's 12 device account limit. With 2 BOLT+ DVRS, you'd be 5 devices over the limit out of the gate.

Which version Mini do you have, an older Mini or the new 4K-capable Mini VOX?

p.s. Just to be clear, the older v1 & v2 Minis do NOT support 4K, and there's no software update that will change that fact. They lack the hardware. Only the BOLT series and the new Mini VOX support 4K.

Yes... given number I had to split my system into 2 accounts.

On the minis, I have the older ones. I’m quite upset because I just bought them within the past 6 months or so. They are useless to me if they are not 4K.

    Thanks for the info
