I decided to try this today. I am now watching the third episode. I guess it has sucked me in. Anyone else?

I liked it but didn't love it. Watched the whole season. Maybe a B or B+. I think it could get better but if there is a season 2 they need to commit on a direction.

I’ve just finished episode 8. 2 more episodes left. I think that I’m really liking this show because I’m a little sad that I am almost finished.

I watched the whole thing. I liked it but the ending was a bit of a let down. The acting was superb all around.

Finished it. I’ve been a fan of Monaghan since Gone Baby Gone. It was nice to see her in this project.

Even though I enjoyed it, I hope there isn’t a Season 2. It would only ruin the weird ending.

There really was no ending per se, just that the last episode ended. There are as many open questions as any other episode's endings so this show could have been any number of episodes long and just stop at any point within or after any one of them. I hope there is a season 2 so this can proceed to a real ending, not some vague, open ended stoppage for which the viewer is to decide what was what.

I don't know if this was just a one season thing but, if so, and as I've mentioned before, I find this a cop out in writing; you present me with a story engaging enough for me to spend almost 10 hours watching - end it! I'm not a writer - it's not my job to determine where this was supposed to go. Without a conclusion, what was the point of the whole thing?

    *Late season spoilers*

Seeing him saving Avi at the end was a little disappointing but gave me hope for a second season. But, I guess that was Avi's role in this whole thing. Get him out of there.

Eva's rigid thinking annoyed me so much. They mostly exposed why she was that way but it still upset me. This is why I think Avi was a better character with his willingness to transform. I may have missed how her husband died. That may be a better clue about her beliefs and behavior.

    Overall, I liked it.

The ending was what I was expecting up until the last 2 episodes. I was thinking he wasn't a fraud until the last two episodes. Then I believed he was a fraud. I should have known they were forcing it on us a little too hard.

To be fair, we didn't see him save Avi. All we saw was a kid claiming that he saved Avi...

...and on further reflection, wasn't that the kid who was the compulsive liar?

Correct. Which is why I think he was more a magician. ;)

Compulsive lying kid? I think I missed that. Is that the same kid who got “shot” and was saved by the magician?

I don't know about that, but he was the one who was late for his webcam "school" and claimed that he was late because he fought off a lion...

I started it a couple of days ago. At first, I was skeptical, then heard his responses to questions. I think he is one of the 2 witnesses in Rev 11. A question, in episode 9, what book is Eva reading in the diner?
