Thanks @lambertman! This deserves its own thread.
Probably my favorite of the Marvel shows...sad to see it (them) end.
Loved season 1, thought season 2 was just okay and eagerly await season 3.
Yes, it's the most Marvelous IMO. Hate to see it end. I never had seen the Jessica actress before until I was watching a Veronica Mars episode not too long ago, and there she was (a younger version).
My sister and I are excited to watch the last season of this. It was the first Netflix superhero show I got my sister to watch. She loved it. Aaaannnnnddddd....it's Cancelled!
She wasn't happy when I told her.
Great news. Just finished True Detective so I'm ready to drop HBO and switch back to Netflix.
I forgot about True Detective. I picked up HBO for GoT, now I need to watch VEEP, Chernobyl and True Detective before I cut it off again.
This was also my favorite, by far, of the Netflix Marvel shows.
Mine too (admittedly I skipped swaths of the other shows, and Iron Fist entirely). However, I thought S2 of Jessica Jones was a pretty big comedown from S1. It started great and then foundered. I was enthused enough about the first few episodes to suggest here that we have threads for the season in groups of three episodes, so we could discuss along the way without having had to binge the whole thing before it was safe to make a comment about anything in an omnibus thread. Then it took me a few weeks to get through the whole season because I got so disillusioned with it that so discussing it at all was irrelevant.
Hoping the new showrunner for S3 brings a rebound to form.
I agree, season 1 with the Dr. Who guy was much better than season 2.
Killgrave was the best TV villain ever.
Best superpower ever.
You've never seen Breaking Bad then?
I sort of agree except for once you know, you just need some noise cancelling headphones (or a deaf sidekick). Short of his persuasiveness, wasn't he just a completely normal, vulnerable dude?
But I do think his menace really made Season 1. TBH, I completely forget the story arc for season 2, I just remember being disappointed.
It was only during a rewatch of Breaking Bad that I realized Jane = Jessica.
I haven't watch the other Superhero shows on Netflix, as they are not normally my thing, but my son recommended this one to watch and I enjoyed it. I'll had this to the list of about a 1,000 things to watch this summer.
Yes, I've seen it and it's a favorite, but I don't remember Krysten Ritter being in it. It's been awhile. And I see she was in The B**** in I Forget What Room #, but I never saw that.
I was just going to post that. Beware the single bad word in the last two seconds.
