No, as I said, he heard the wind whistling through a small leak, which stopped when he pressed on the window.

I guess people have a poor sound system or are listening at low volume to not have noticed.

I am very amused by the idea of an office having an organ.

Too bad Roger never decided to serenade us before now.

I immediately rolled my eyes and said, "Oh great, Matt Weiner giving more fodder to the people who take the opening credits literally."

And as others have said, Don heard the wind through the glass and it stopped when he pushed on it. Just one of the many things about the new office and new situation that makes it a huge downgrade from SC&P.

What struck me about that scene, is it's always been Don telling the story about the man from Wisconsin, and now it's being fed to him by some market research numbers man.

Neither of you are inside Don Draper's mind - so for all of us it's just conjecture.

My takeaway is that he can't jump.

That is the amazing thing about subjective art - we can respond to it anyway we want. Literally or not.

Peggy strutting into the new office with sunglasses, a dangling cigarette, and octopus porn was legendary...

All I could think of was Rollergirl from Boogie Nights. A pleasant thought. :)

    Falls...
That was the biggest one for me. First, Don is just one other guy in the room, and then he's getting the Don treatment for t his other guy. He's not so special any more.

I any decide if the sunglasses are just to complete the look or because she's hung over.

I liked Roger's discussion with the boss guy.

"He just got up and walked out of a meeting and we haven't seen him since!"
    "Yeah, he does that."

I love how the McCann execs are quickly learning that what they got, and what they thought they bought are not the same thing.

I also think they are realizing how rinky dink the old firm was compared to them. What they bought was the accounts. I don't think they actually care about the people. And the accounts they don't care about, like Avon, they don't care if they blow off.

I thought she was going there late in the afternoon; that was the time reference made when she was swilling liquor with Roger...

If not, then she was hungover :D

I'm not sure that is true, they had many conflicts and lost accounts.

I think Don was their White Whale.

That's what I thought too, and that was my first reaction. She was wearing sunglasses because she was hungover and her eyes were probably bloodshot and that's not a way to make a first impression. Looking like a tough biatch might not be the best way either in what's obviously a very misogynistic atmosphere.

That's really no surprise (minus Don); it's been evident all along...

At one point, Roger said "You can't go now, it's 4pm and your drunk" and they had a couple more scenes after that (like the rollerskating).

I thought the sunglasses scene was the next day.

I can't wait to see what happens with Peggy, because it was made pretty clear that they don't value her much at all.

And if Don shows no value, he's dead meat too. And so far, that's the case.
