This seemed more like action/sci-fi than horror, to me. Maybe that will change in future episodes. I'm going to keep watching, for now, even though the monsters were pretty cheesy.

We finally watched this last night, and loved it. We’ve finished up several shows in the last couple weeks and tried a few new things that weren’t really grabbing us. But man, this was terrific. Can’t wait for the next episode!

I think, to me at least, and for now, the monsters are secondary to the rest of the story. I do think they will probably be more in focus going forward

I am not a horror fan, and have not read any Lovecraft, but I thought I would give it a shot. It was truly horrific, and I am talking about what happens before the monster shows up!

I watched the first episode yesterday and I'm hooked. I have a lot of HP Lovecraft novels in paperback that I read years ago. Lots of good horror stories if you enjoy the genre.
