I have watched all of Lost so far, and after reading some of the postings, I have missed quite a bunch. Like the whole hanso quote, most of the Dahrma project stuff (besides the sign on the shark) and a bunch of stuff about the other group (hairy man and his gang) on the island. Can anyone fill me in on some important things that have happened that maybe not everyone could have caught. That would be greatly appreciated. Who's Alex? I know something about Alex being one of the others.

Vincent is the best actor on the show.

Alex is the French woman's daughter who was taken by the others when she was still a child. Presumably, she is now grown up (teenager) and one of them

I'm sorry...I don't normally do this....I'm very far from some of the grammar cops here, but everytime I look up and see it, it's killing me! I know what it's like...I misspell things all the time....

    subtle...not suttle

The OP was obviously referring to the army that Jack wants to raise with A-L.

    Der. :)

    suttle

\Sut"tle\, v. i. [See Sutler.] To act as sutler; to supply provisions and other articles to troops.

I have many pet peeves, many of which I do not share. This one? I will.

I hate it when people are in the midst of correcting grammar and misspell grammar. In this particular case, you misspelled grammar when nailing someone for misspelling something!

... while suggesting that it was a grammar correction. Now my head is starting to hurt.

P.S. I'm glad I'm up to date on this show, since there aren't any spoiler warnings or tags.

One subtle one I found is the usage of firearms. (Nothing we haven't already seen, but spoilerizing it just in case people missed the last episode)

German Luger/Japanese 8mm that Zeke had. Very, very telling about the history of the island.

    Point taken...thank you

(I did add a disclaimer though about my own periodic spelling woes)

Oh no, I don't mind about the spoilers, I never really cared. I just didn't want to get hollered at by some fanboy all torqued that I just ended their life. ;)

    Can we speculate in here?

Who do you think Jack's wife was cheating with?

What is the Sayid tie-in to the other lostaways?

In What Kate Did while she is in the Army recruiting office talking to her (real) father, Sayid appears on a TV screen. No idea what it means yet though.

I'm writing this letter to complain about people who write letters to complain about people who complain.

    I'm certainly not!

    But I am.
    Sincerely yours,
