Is there any way to expand the size of the 746320 image that you provided any further?

Sure. Here is what I did. Search for jmfs live cd on this forum site, download iso file, unzip the file, burn the iso image to a bootable cd or DVD.
I disconnected my main hard drive in a Windows 10 desktop, put the bootable cd in a CD drive, connected the TiVo drive with the new image that needs expanding to the cables from my Win 10 boot HDD, boot off cdrom. Follow instructions from cd executable to expand the TiVo partition. Whole process was less than an hour.

Did you do this immediately after restoring the image to a hard drive with DVRBARS?

Actually I put the hard drive with the DVRBARS restored image in the TiVo, went thru guided setup, and let TiVo install updates. Then I used the TiVo for a couple of days before taking the drive out and doing the expansion.

How large did you expand the drive?

To what the max jmfs live software said was available. Current was around 300GB on that partition and I think it recommended 470GB or so. Original drive was 320GB, replacement was 500GB so not a big expansion.
