London's National Theatre's production of "Jane Eyre" available online

    Via Youtube.com (no charge); supposed to be a very nice, and the National Theatre is a gem. Could be a nice way to spend an evening or afternoon (it's almost 3 hours). :)

    Thanks for posting this. It is long, but it's pretty good. I've never seen anything like this before. It would be confusing if I didn't know the story so well. Mr. Rochester and Jane are both good, and the dog.... :)

    The National Theatre is putting a new production on YouTube every week. I forget which one is starting on Thursday.

    Darn, I wish they were showing "All My Sons" with Bill Pullman and Sally Field. I'd love to see that.

    While I went looking for "All My Sons," I came across this--the 1993 concert reunion of the original cast of the Stephen Sondheim/Hal Prince/George Furth 1970 musical "Company." Dean Jones was made for this role, and brings tears--his killer number, "Being Alive," that brings down the house (but then, so many of them do, in this musical), at 1:11:34.
