Just spent 15+ minutes in on-line chat, trying to find out if local store (Chapel Hill, NC) has a CableCard and tuning adapter for my new Roamio Pro. Was assured that they do; but when I asked if that could be verified, Merlyn finally replied that they have no way of checking. Gave me a 866 phone number to call and a link. When I clicked on the link, I lost the chat string.

I can find no way on line to see the local number (I assume that is intentional, wouldn't want to make it easy to talk to a local human being).

I just don't want to drive over there and be told "Oh, we're out of them right now."

    Suggestions welcome. Thanks

Have you tried looking for the number via google maps or equivalent tools?

Foursqaure.com and Yahoo did have the local numbers that TWC wanted to keep hidden.

Comcast started hiding the numbers to local offices too some years ago.
