Maybe they can try a dream thing and have Riggs not be dead but instead have dreamt about what would happen if he did die or something ridiculous like that. Then when he wakes up he finds out that Murtaugh was actually the one who died and the new partner is his new partner. TV has pulled off more outlandish stuff before.

Yeah but they might need a new actor to play Riggs because although Wayan's incident was the nail in his coffin, it wasn’t his first time losing control of his anger. I think the actor needs to take a few lessons from Julianne Moore and learn how to quickly get in and out of character.

Well, if Damon Wayans is out, then so am I.
I see no reason to watch the rest of this season if more than likely it will be its last.

I kind of like the guy from American Pie, but didn't think he was all that compelling here.. not bad, just I liked Riggs better.. but when the Murtaugh was all sad/reminiscing at the end about how he'd miss Riggs, I was somewhat laughing since it was (AFAIK) the actor's own actions/insistence that made Clayne Crawford be fired.

I thought this was a dumb light action show.. will probably still watch for a while, and while I'm not as likely to cut loose a show I've watched 2 seasons of, but it may at least to go the lower end of the watch list.

It's not 16hrs digging ditches or sitting in an office doing office work and it's not every day and every week and every month for the rest of your life until you retire or drop dead. I guess I'm saying I won't shed any tears for a successful actor complaining about how "tough" their jobs are.

Having said that, it's his choice and if it's too much for him and he can stop doing it GO FOR IT! Sucks though because I liked the show and the two actors/characters.

....and screw everyone that will be out of work when the show ends. If he didn't get Crawford fi4ed there would be a better chance the show would go on without him.
... unless this is just a negotiating tactic.

Crawford got himself fired. He had multiple outbursts Waynan wasn’t the only one who complained but was more consequential.

Wayans is every bit as replaceable as Crawford. The quotes I read on his quitting made him sound really tacky.

He is. And apparently neither wanted to do this show in the first place, but I’m not sure it’s worth the effort to keep it going.

Not even worth the effort now to watch.

As much as I use to enjoy watching this show I sadly concur.

I'm still in, as a light action show.. I HOPE they purposely do it as series finale though..

All of the moaning could just be public negotiation for more money. It’s still too much drama and damages the loyalty of viewers. If he really doesn’t want to go any further Happy Together should be canceled soon so they could bring in Jr. as Stifler’s partner to replace him. Anyway, I’m not enjoying the new incarnation as much as the old one so I just cancelled the 1P.

Not according to Fox. Fox would not pick up the show without Wayans.

Fox is historically and consistently incorrect.

No doubt! I will never argue in support of a Fox Network Executive decision. I think it would be funny if they replaced Damon Wayans with Damon Wayans Jr.

I just don't know that Fox would replace him and want to keep the show going. If the show was cheaper, I could also see Netflix or Amazon pick it up (like they just did with Lucifer).

I can't seem to get through the episodes anymore. I have 3 waiting to be watched. Nothing to do with either Clayne Crawford or the new guy. They just bore me. I think it's time to just cancel the 1P.

I like the show even with the new guy that replaced Riggs. I'll watch the remaining episodes and then move on to something else. I've gotten to where I try not to get too invested in any shows anymore because I know they will all eventually go away. The irony is that many of the shows I decided to stop watching because they have simply droned on too long are still running. I can't believe shows like Gray's Anatomy, Criminal Minds and several others have lasted this long.
