This is why you NEVER delete SP's. They ended this series some months ago with Superman going back home, and all indications was that it was over, then BAM! Today I have a new episode. The heroes are older, and there is a nice twist with a cloned future Superman.

The Batman series is also new; I'll be watching that a bit later. Thanks Kids WB! (I am SUCH a kid).

    That's Legion of Super-Heroes. They're not a League, they're Legion :)

I especially enjoyed the new look on Brainiac 5. I don't recall if Lightning Lad had a soul patch before, but he wears it well. I was glad to see Chameleon Boy make an appearance.

One more thing! Pa K3NT was voiced by Sab Shamino, Jackie Chan's "Uncle."

Yeah, I was watching this when Comcast showed up, and I haven't gotten back to it. Thanks for reminding me!

Superman X, indeed -- is he anywhere in the comics canon? Or is he a newly invented character for the series?

The opening credits show him side-by-side with the 21st century Superman, so I'm guessing Clark will be back at some point.

It's interesting how they decided to age the characters. And turn Brainiac 5 gay... :)

Or hero-worship. I didn't see it as gay at all.

    Potato and pen.

    Half yes, half no.

Over ten years ago, when DC did the "Death of Superman" story, the government got ahold of him while he was "dead" and created a clone.

The character ended up using the name "Superboy" (hatched too early), and had the Kryptonian name "Kon-El" and the secret ID of "Conner Kent".

Like Superman X, he's not genetically identical to Superman, it turning out half his DNA was genetically engineered from a human source, his powers including a form of telekinesis.

Kon-El at one point traveled into the future, and spent considerable time with the (then) current version of the Legion as their Superboy.

Superman X's costume is very much like one of the ones Conner wore.

Conner was killed some months back during "Infnite Crisis", and fans have noticed the similarity between him and X.

Just to add to what Gastrof said, one of the producers said that Superman X was their take on Lar Gand but I don't think he really resembles Mon-El.

I think that this is their way of sneaking in the clone Superboy.

Lightning Lad has definitely aged. He had no soul patch before and his voice is deeper now.

Not sure if I like X or not. Seems pretty cold.

Did Triplicate Girl become Duo Damsel in the very first episode, or will they undo the future damage and get #3 back?

And where was Saturn Girl? I thought one of the statues that got destroyed was of her, but maybe she was on vacation for this one.

Check Epguides periodically and you don't get surprizes. :)

I hate soul patches or whatever those little dumb beards are called so I will have to get used to Lightening Lad. Braniac has been improved.

I didn't think of it as a man-crush but as a very immature boy's hero worship.

I'm kind of thinking # 3 isn't coming back and it will be Duo Damsel from now on. Seemed kind of soon in the series though.
