By far, one of the best shows on tv right now. you can tell that they put a lot into the production. the acting and storytelling is superb.

the stakes are raised. Darken Rahl strikes back. It’s the final episode before the Season Finale of Legend of the Seeker.

it's available on Hulu if you need to catch up. Looking forward to next season!

It is a remarkably good-looking series, and I don't just mean the two leads -- the settings are magnificent and the technical production values are incredible.

The story is great as well, but they do have an advantage. There are something like 5000-8000 pages of material, with a clear direction and ending, already set forth. That gives them the luxury of presenting episode after episode, crafting a stand-alone story for each episode (for occasional viewers), while still feeding the overall story arc.

Watch it. The cinematography is great. And her eyes. So beautiful.

I too enjoy this show. I download it and watch it via WMP11 on my 32 LCD TV. Much better picture than my local CW via sub-channel OTA.

I have probably watched about 5-6 episodes but I can't say that I really like it. I have a LOT on the Tivo. I might catch up with some of them when the summer reruns get started.

Add another one to the "I like this show" crowd. Most of the episodes are pretty good. Some are great.

An enjoyable show. This may seem a bizarre nit, but I liked it better when Kahlan was traveling and fighting in a skirt rather than tights.

Heh. If only I was skinny enough to play Zed convincingly.

with all the news about cancellations and renewals, does anyone know if this show has been picked up for next season? every episode is epic... much like a real movie with high productive value. And I think this show deserves more credit than anything else. :)

Just found this show a couple weeks ago.

Can't say I liked it very much at first...I think the casting (outside the leads) is pretty bad. Zed is the perfect wizard (is that the dude from mad max?) from the fantasy stuff that I grew up on (D&D etc)

Even though I didn't like it, I kept watching it because I enjoyed the production values, and by the 8th episode, I started to really get into it. I can't tell if the show started getting better, or I just started glossing over the things I didn't like about it.

I really enjoy it now, though.

Horner bugs me a lot - but I will say that he does a great job swinging the sword. The way he throws himself around, swinging it like a baseball bat. Very entertaining.

Yes! Bruce Spence (no relation) has been around quite a while. (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and an episode of Farscape)
