Poor O'Halloran. Why couldn't he have just had minor wounds and Stabler been stabbed in the heart?

    Not a Meloni fan, I see... :)

I think we both loved this episode.

    Bing-Bang-Boom is finally gone

We felt the same about poor O'Halloran. Af first I thought he was just wounded. Unfortunately this is not Lost, so he's gone for good.

Agreed on the other guy. I'm sooo glad he is gone, even if we could see it coming miles away.

I felt sorry for Munch's ex-wife. Talk about being used. Hard to believe that Munch was the stable/rational one in a relationsihp, huh?

Absolutely hallelujah on BingBangBoom being gone. You knew he was going to go on a crazy streak, did it have to take weeks? So glad he's gone. Melloni is ok, but I think I've said before about SVU, I've taken to watching it for the Jack & Karen (Munch & Fin) of the show rather than the Will & Grace.

ETA: Am I the only one that found it strange BingBangBoom was allowed near the related crime scenes? Seems like any defense attorney would have a field day with that, "You messed up here, what's to make us believe you didn't fake evidence there to make up for it?" (Which is exactly what he did.)

Not to mention: what's going to happen with all the other cases that he's worked on?

I do wonder if this was a stab at the CSI franchise?

I'm guessing that this wasn't the one that was also married to Lenny Briscoe.

Really? They were married to the same woman? I never knew that.
How many ex-wives does Munch have? Briscoe had 3, right?

I'm trying to think to crossover episodes with both of them and don't remember that being mentioned. Maybe on Homicide? (That's where Munch is from right? Never really watched it.) Or was that a joke about they both having bunches of wives?:p

That was mentioned in a crossover of Law & Order and Homicide. I'm not sure which, there were three.

I was thinking this was a slap at the CSI shows with the very first episode with Stuckey in it.

This episode was just way way WAY over the top. I mean, did we really want to see Liv kissing Stuckey? Ew. Ew. Ew.

I don't think Lenny married her. He just did her.

No, it was during the one Homicide/Law & Order crossover.
Muench was teamed with Briscoe and it was stated in in the dialog that they had both married the same woman (not at the same time though).
Not sure if Lenny helped get John the job with NYPD.

I think Lenny had three wives and John four.

You're right. She should have been kissing me.

Or me. As long as she doesn't toss me over her shoulder and slam my head on the floor afterwards. :)

Lenny slept with her, he didn't marry her. It was during the time when he was still a drunk. Munch didn't know about it and only discovered it during casual conversation during a pool game with Lenny.

Lenny did not help Munch get a job with the NYPD. he needed a change of pace from B-More after Giardello died.
