So, with the move from NBC to USA, can I confidently set my Season Pass to only record first runs?

How good/accurate is USA's guide data?

I used to have a Wishlist for some of the L&O that I would do first run and I would pick up the re-runs on USA if I had a conflict on NBC, so I would expect it will work.

USA's data used to suck royally, I had to do lots of fiddlng with Monk to keep from getting dozens recorded. But it's been pretty good for a while.

I watch all the L&O's and have a ARWL setup for "Law & Order" that's FRO. I'm expecting that should be good still, even with the move.

I frequently get 1AM episodes of The 4400 and L&O:CI showing up on my FRO season passes for them, so USA's guide data still isn't quite right.

Wow... so any strategies for recording only the new episodes, and not recording all of the past season reruns???

Perhaps it is as simple as just setting a manual recording for the day and time and pruning the reruns :(
