Well, it didn't take long to rip ol' Gov. Spitzer from the headlines.

Now Jack has an enemy in the Governor's office and no leverage.

I'm sure the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Southern District of NY is flattered to know that the writers of L&O believe they can be bought off (and cases dumped) with a property lease for the DEA.

I suspect next year they will wrap up the governor storyline and Jack's threat in 5 minutes (e.g. the governor gets impeached).

    Valparaiso,...
Who played the governor? He looked very familiar.

I was watching a Sidney Lumet movie, "Find Me Guilty," with Vin Diesel as a wiseguy defending himself in a massive RICO trial involving mobsters. The lead prosecutor was played by Linus Roche. I wonder if that performance caught the eye of the L&O peeps and got Linus his new job.

    Just an aside.

Both Linus Roach and Jeremy Sisto were both on Kidnapped together. I don't think it's a coincidence that they joined the cast of L&O at roughly the same time.
