THANK YOU for the recommendation of this series! We binged maybe 6 episodes yesterday, and while it doesn't appear to be my wife's thing (she doesn't like comedies that don't star little kids named Punky for some reason), I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

I'm not kidding. Yesterday she was watching this episode where a little kid came to visit and drank fabric softener... one of the other kids called 911 and they wanted to know what it was, but the kid couldn't read. The 911 operator said, "Well just TRY." Learn to read, kids.

I will say though, that Punky got hot. It gives me something to look forward to because I know my wife will watch the new Punky on Peacock.

I was hoping there would be a third season. Arkin will be missed. The speech he made to Kominsky's acting class in season 2 was one of the highlights of the series.

And it's back... the final season, six episodes, of The Kominksy Method dropped today. Might as well get our money's worth from this thread...

I watched the first episode today. Norman's funeral was funny, sad, bittersweet, cringe-worthy and entertaining. All at once. His secretary, who couldn't let him go? That was Simon Helberg's (Howard, BBT) real-life wife, Jocelyn Towne.

And the reception after (with the GOOD sushi :)), that scene with Madelyn.

    Yvette & Irving and $2,000.

    "Boris, we must kill Squirrel."

Should have been his first clue as to her profession.

We watched this over the weekend - great show that I’m sad to see going away. Loved the end of the season where Sandy flexes his acting chops

I have to admit, like the students in Kominsky's class, Sandy and Morgan Freeman's argument had me fooled.

Just finished the series. I enjoyed it. I miss Alan Arkin, the banter between him & Michael Douglas was A+. But still a good final season.

Loved seeing them all sit around watching Diner, and talking about how some of the actors are unrecognizable these days. Yeah, right, Modell. [IMG] (that was Paul Reiser's character). Christine Ebersole just killed. She elevates any show she's part of. Bob {hearts} Abishola.

Michael Douglas is an amazing actor. He just gets better. And just like MD, Kathleen Turner is no longer 25 either, but she's as good an actor as ever. That's all that matters.

Loved a few Chuck Lorre easter eggs. The WB backlot, Duckie (or is it Alan Harper).

Really fun series. Missed Alan Arkin, but still worth watching.

That was great. Great acting, great writing, great production, with laugh-out-loud moments in every episode.
