kmttg problem

    I installed kmttg and everything appears to have installed correctly but nothing happens when I open it (no recorded program list is shown). I'm sure I have the correct TiVo Media Access Key number entered. Any suggestions?

    Did you click the refresh button?
    What model tivos do you have?

    Hi, thanks for the response. Yes clicked the refresh button and restarted the program several times. I have two series 3 Tivos.

    Do you have enable rpc style communications unchecked? upload_2018-3-8_7-57-42.png

    Hello and thanks again for the response.

    Yes the Enable rpc is unchecked. My main and TiVo configuration screens are below if that helps.

    I would try putting in the tivo ip manually and including tivo.com user name and pass word

    I presently have TiVo Desktop installed and was looking at trying kmttg because the TiVo Desktop is extremely slow in transferring recordings. Two questions: 1. Is the kmttg faster in transferring records? 2. Could the TiVo Desktop be causing my problems with kmttg?

    Transfer speeds are generally limited by the hardware in the TiVo (especially true for S3 and older) and kmttg and TiVo Desktop should transfer at the same rate.
