I had Kmttg working and it stopped functioning so I tried to check the configuration, but found that none of the menus would work, e.g. I click on File menu and it drops down the submenu but when the instant I move the mouse to make a selection the file menu snaps closed. Same behavior with auto transfers and Help menu and same behavior using keyboard. It reads my Tivo and lists files and I can click on the buttons, but none of the three menu options at top of screen can be accessed and so can't not configure. Two days ago it was fine.

Completely removed and installed another copy of Kmttg and same behavior.

    Weird.

More details needed from your system running kmttg:

    kmttg version
    Operating System
java version (run "java -version" from command line)

    I donwloaded pytivo from here:
    https://github.com/wmcbrine/pytivo

    I have python 3.5 64bit installed

I'm trying to install pytivo as a Windows Service

    I have python-3.5.0-amd64.exe, so

    Following instructions at
    http://pytivo.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Windows_Install#Running_as_a_Service

    ...
    Type "cmd" and hit enter
Change directory to base pyTivo directory (the <install folder> from above). For example, type "cd c:\pytivo"
    Type "pyTivoService.py --startup auto install"

    This gave me error:

    ...pytivoservice.py, line 5, ... "no modules named win32event"

    What am I doing wrong?

I also tried to use auto_push_v0.1d, on setting it up and going I got a Javax errors as below.

Don't know if perhaps all my problems are related.

Suggest you update your Java to latest. Windows 10 and all v2.1 versions work fine (that's what I'm using).

Yeah, things are are working fine for me, too, with kmttg v2.1u, java version "1.8.0_101-b13", in both Win 10 1607 14393.51 and Ubuntu 16.04LTS Linux

Java 71 is eight months old, pre-Win10 Anniversary Update. 101/102 just came out a month ago. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java_version_history#Java_8_updates

I went to Java.com and updated but the latest version it installed was version 8. You are using Java v2.1???

    Menus still frozen after update.

    I installed Python 2.7
Pytivo is working, which it was before.

KMTTG still has disabled menus that pop shut when you try to select them.

The good news is that the Auto Push plug-in is now working.

Any ideas of why I'm gitting the "no modules named win32event"

    Type "cmd" and hit enter
Change directory to base pyTivo directory (the <install folder> from above). For example, type "cd c:\pytivo"
    Type "pyTivoService.py --startup auto install"

    This gave me error:
