I don't know, one of the BBCA episodes had a parade for Gravy.
Yeah the wife was yelled at, but it was at work in the context of work. She's not a baby.
They actually did very well out of it...
Is the BBC version available to watch online anywhere?
There are torrents out there, if that's what you mean.
I was hoping BBC might have it on their website to watch, as fox/nbc/cbs etc do for their shows. I'll look around for a torrent sometime.
The BBC won't have it on their website as it is not shown on the BBC in the UK, it's shown on Channel 4 but whether they've got it on their website I don't know.
EDIT: Here is the website
There is a catch-up option but it says it will only work in the UK and Ireland
They're re-running all the shows on BBCAmerica right now. You could probably find someone to rip them for you, since I'm assuming you don't get that channel.
I've watched it since it first started showing on BBCA, and I'm re-watching now, and the comparison makes the US version even more painful.
Yeah BBCA runs the repeats all the time.
I preferred getting a torrent of the original UK airings because they don't bleep the F word.
Stupid FCC pansies.
Honestly, not sure if I get that channel or not at the moment, as I'm in the process of moving. Between moving and work, I haven't had time to even look for it. (and my main tivo is already packed). OTOH, I have plenty of time at work to watch it if it's available on the web, so that's generally the best way for me to kill time when there's nothing else to do.
Torrent hunting will find a variety of Ramsay shows including the excellent The F Word .
Try searching just on the name Ramsay.
Yeah, I like The F Word too (the show, not the--well the word is pretty good, but at this moment, I'm talking about the show. ).
Boiling Point is my least fave of his shows, but it's still pretty good.
Yeah, the bleeping of f--- on a Gordon Ramsay show pretty much guarantees that the show has a soundtrack all its own.
The FCC has little if any control over *cable* programming. They didn't slip the F word in but the season premier of South Park had one of the characters (don't want the spoiler police on me) with Tourette's Syndrome and they were using just about every obscene word known to man outside of the F word or combinations of the F word.
My wife and I had been looking forward to this show, and we will watch since it is all we get from GR at this point (we have basic cable). But on my flights to/from San Fran this weekend I got to watch some of the BBCA episodes and I very much prefer that version.
Incidentally, I researched and found that there is a NTSC DVD set coming out on the 16th. It is being sold only in Canada, but will be available (to import) from Amazon.ca.
