I despise shows featuring Twitter drivel crawling or popping up. BLECHH!
I did enjoy the part where they dropped the Bieber angel during his intro/descent into the Maelstrom.

Some of our local news stations have taken to putting up a twitter response or two after the bigger local stories. In the broadcast, as part of the story.

I'm sorry, but opinions from twitter viewers (or really any non-interested party) have nothing to do with news. Why do I care how some anon person feels about (for example) the arrest of a local teacher for dating their 6 year old student. Report the news, move on. But no, we have to see an on-screen blurb like...

Twitter is the worst thing to ever happen to television. Why can't they put this garbage in closed captioning or something for those that want it?

You can watch an un-censored, un-twittered version of the roast on Comedy Central's website. You do have to sign in with a pay tv provider though.

the other thing that drives me crazy is shows that have their twitter hashtag on screen the entire time or hosts that practically beg you to tweet them.

no thanks i don't want to do your advertising for you.

    I loved the roast.
Shaq's reactions to getting roasted were fantastic.

The worst performer was Chris D'Elia. Wow, that guy just isn't funny.

But the rest of the performers were excellent, especially Martha Stewart. Just having her up there was oddly funny, but her time at the podium was especially hilarious.

I had never heard of Natasha Leggero but she was funny and so was Martha Stewart. Leggero's delivery was also pretty good while Martha Stewart was just Martha Stewart, which is funny because I have no idea why she is anybody we even know exists. She was bland and her delivery was so bad it was good.

I'm glad that Seth Rogen stuck to his guns and denied Bieber's begging for him to attend. Bieber loves Rogen while Rogen openly despises Bieber.

She's one of those people whom I've never seen (at least at the time) outside of a comedy roast. But are superbly good at the roasts, so they keep coming back. I assume they are stand-up comedians, but have no idea.

Others that come to mind: Lisa Lampinelli, Greg Giraldo, Jeff Ross, Gilbert Gottfried, Amy Schumer, Anthony Jeselnik. Some have of course gone on to more fame.

Finally watched it and thought it was very funny, especially Pete Davidson and Natasha. Good stuff.

Pete Davidson's joke about Soul Plane being the worst airplane-related thing that's ever happened to him after just offhand mentioning he lost his dad in 9/11 was hilarious. Perfectly delivered. :D

Really? Luda needs to get over himself. If Pete Davidson can make (and let others make) jokes about his father dying in 9/11, Luda needs to have a Coke and a smile and STFU.

On Legerro's multi-part joke where she said, "Kevin, Napoleon was a leader of France. Ludacris, France is in Europe. Justin, Europe is a continent. Shaq, a continent is not a free breakfast," it seemed from her inflection that there was more joke after that, but either it got edited out of the telecast, or she got a big enough laugh at that point that she dropped the rest. I'd like to know how the rest of that joke went.
