    ...and...

Why did they go to the ex-girlfriend's house again? What was their plan? Hoping to find Raylan there? Why would he have been there at all?

Why did Raylan think she was in danger?

    I really missed something.

He wanted out, he wasn't gonna get out. Perhaps this was the only way out?

    I dunno.

The Crowes want to hurt Raylan for (albeit indirectly) killing one of their own. What is his weak spot? With his ex-wife and child in Florida that would be the girlfriend. Take her and Raylan will come to you.

And from their perspective, there's nothing indirect about it...they think Raylan killed him, and he's never denied it.

Yes, they wanted to kidnap her to flush Raylan out.

She's an ex. Perhaps they don't know that.

Exactly. She even mentioned it to Art, both agreeing that it wouldn't matter to the Crowes. And it wouldn't matter to Raylan either.

Wouldn't have mattered. Raylan would have still come running.

    yeah, but...

Let's just say it was a stupid plan and I quite honestly put the head Crowe on a level one or two higher than stupid.

What was he hoping to achieve? Kill Raylan? Much better ways to go about that.

Hold her hostage? What on Earth would come from that other than his death or imprisonment?

But bear in mind, he is laboring under the delusion that he's smarter and tougher than Raylan. When in fact he's a dim-witted coward.

Which will make the moment of realization (probably the last moment of his life) all the sweeter. :D

    Yeah, I hear you.

Most of the Crowes are idiots, and it's fun to watch. This one (Darryl, right?) seems a touch smarter than the rest. But between losing your brother, beating up your sister, etc. etc. perhaps he acted a bit rash. :)

Seems simply ambushing Raylan at night in his driveway would have been more effective a plan.

He's never denied it that we've seen. However I can hardly believe he hasn't explained to them how it happened. Also would they really believe that Raylan took away Danny's knife and shoved it up through his chin? Rather than just shooting him?

I think it more likely they know what happened but still blame Raylan: they think he prodded Danny into attacking him and so it's Raylan's fault, even though Raylan didn't touch Danny. Since Raylan had already explained once he wouldn't feel the need to keep denying it, not to Crowes.

Nah. Unless we're supposed to think that Wendy got more beating, Darryl just brainwashed Kendal further that he's a Crowe and a blood brother.

You'd think that Kendal would have set up Darryl after seeing Mom got beat up.

Here's two things that have me curious.

    1. Kendall was given money from Raylan that Darryl took from him when it was discovered in his dresser drawer. Hi won't admit it, but he admires Raylan or at least respects him. Is Kendall going to side with Raylan over his uncle at some point?

    2. When Art was watching Raylan ex-gf pack, she included some pot, which Art seemed to have missed. Why did they bother to show her packing her joints? Was it just a distraction? It's been a bit of a theme with her all season.

I'm not positive that Art did not see it. It certainly seemed like he was watching her carefully when she went into that drawer. Maybe he did not see what she packed, but I think it is likely he noticed that she was trying to pack something without him seeing it.

I have no idea if it will be a red herring or a plot point.

I would ask what was the point of the scene if it was not used (at least yet)!

He noticed and thought : She's Raylan's white trash girlfriend. Of course she'd have pot.
