I don't think there are any Firefly fans on this forum.
Huh? I don't see it. Justified is almost a western. Firefly is science fiction in space.
Believe it or not, there are still a couple of people who have resisted the assimilation.
Huh? back at you....Firefly was a sci fi western....

What're ya gonna do, spit in our food?
I saw that comin'...
So is he pulling double-duty on Justified and Unforgettable, or maybe the frying pan convinced his character to move to a place with friendlier women?
Ugh - I hate that and I hated Ava. She is the worst character now. I can't stand her as the criminal element. I wish they'd killed her off last season.
I didn't hate it or hate her for it but I don't think it was the smartest thing to do while her man is in jail for who knows how long. If they don't fear Boyd enough to not deal on the weed behind his back then what's to say they fear him enough to not give her another broken arm.. or worse?
Holy cow. I just realized that was my first post in this thread? How did I not comment before now?? I was sooo excited for this to come back and have watched it more than once now. Okay sorry if I repeat other's thoughts but here's my $.02 on the episode.
Liked how they pretty much picked up where they left off at first. I kind of expected him to be all better and it to be months later. This was better, that way he's not 100% in the episode. Made the stand off between him and Quinn .. err Fletcher that much better. I, like most, expected him to kick the table over or something. The table cloth was amazingly cool. He's so smooth about everything he does. It's really really charming and enthralling to watch.
Speaking of enthralling.... Raylan and Boyd together in any capacity, friends.. enemies.. cohorts... whatever is simply gold. I could watch the two of them sit at the table going back and forth for the entire episode.
Raylan: Boyd I've been to Mexico, I don't think you'd like it
Boyd: How so?
Raylan: There's a lot of Mexicans
Just the look on Boyd's face after that is so telling of their relationship. He was almost giddy during their interaction. He's got serious man-crush on Raylan. I think Raylan's feelings could go either way but my gut tells me he's fond of Boyd as well even though he tries not to be.
I really didn't get at that time what Boyde was doing but the minute they showed Dickie and Dewey in that prison line it clicked. He's smarter that he seems, that one.
As for McDonough, I've always loved him in everything he's done that I've seen, going back to his role in the movie Walking Tall. I'm sure he won't disappoint on here too. He has the odd mix between attractively charming and downright creepy down to an art.
And the thing about the tablecloth is it was due to Wynonna prettying up the place with her plant and whatever else.
Random thread bump, I love it! Finished rewatching Justified a few weeks ago. Love(d) it.
Dang, I was hoping this thread bump was maybe news of a series revival.
Sorry. We just started binging about three weeks ago. I may be bumping other random threads.
FX's new streaming service, FX+ (the + is $6/mo, no commercials) has a lot of their old series, but surprisingly, Justified is not one of them.
(All seasons of the following shows are available: American Horror Story, The Americans, Archer, Atlanta, Baskets, The Bastard Executioner, Better Things, The Comedians, Damages, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League, Legion, Legit, Lights Out, Man Seeking Woman, Married, Nip/Tuck, Over There, Pose, Rescue Me, The Riches, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, The Shield, Snowfall, Sons of Anarchy, The Strain, Taboo, Terriers, Thief, Trust, Tyrant, Wilfred and You're the Worst)
I need more Art Mullen & Rayland
It's included with Amazon Prime. Maybe Amazon has an exclusive for a period of time? Don't know. Prime has other FX shows that are streamed on the FX+ service.
I thought about that (Amazon having exclusive), but then I noticed that FX+ has Legit (Jim Jefferies), and Amazon Prime Video also has it. FX+ has The Shield (great show!), as does Amazon Prime and so does Hulu (which does not have Legit Legit now on Hulu).
Anyway, FX+ is not for me (I Tivo most FX and FXX shows and have DVD's for any show I want in my library).
