I expected it, but it still stings.
Well, he was pretty dirty.
Then there was the throw away line by Jake's grandfather about it being hot so everybody must have moved north because of global warming. Duh, 23 nukes went off a few months ago.
Too bad about the cancellation, but I can't really see how they could keep up the pace.
Actually, Grandpa Green was talking about deer.
That and Grandpa Green died 5 years (?) before the nukes went off.
Wow, was it that long?
I could have sworn part of the reason that Jake came back to Jericho when he did (way back in the Pilot) was to collect something (can't recall if it was money or not) that Grandpa Green left him.
And I bring this up only because, like others, I really liked how the show weaved all the relationships together. It's a shame that element of the show was trimmed down dramatically in season 2 (due to the limited episode order and budget cuts).
Oh well. RIP Jericho.
I think you're right...don't know where I was getting the 5 years from. The point was that Grandpa Greene was dead before the nukes went off.
I wish they had gotten Gerald McRaney to do the ghost--would that have cost that much? Grandpa's was good, tho.
It would be a tough choice, especially if you have a family--do you lay low and accept what's going on for the sake of safety for yourself, or do you put it all on the line for the future of the country? Interesting how the guy left when they had his family, but then they never said anything more about holding the deputy's family and Hawkins daughter, did they?
Is that Deputy Jimmy on the new Verizon Wireless unlimited plan ads?
He sure gets around. He's also in the Fiber One cereal ad.
