So I want to find an older thread about a particular episode of Once Upon A Time.

I do a Titles Only search for the word "Upon". I figure it's a good choice for the search - not that commonly used. ZERO hits.

I then leave everything the same except change the search word to "Once". ZERO hits.

I then leave everything the same except change the search word to "Time".
Bam - all the episode threads show up.

    WTF?

I use the "new thread" feature. Type in the title and let it show you threads and then click on one of those. Not sure why that lookup works so much better than the search function.

That doesn't explain why the search doesn't work like it's supposed to.

They should be running Sphinx here. Its a far superior search engine to the default vBulletin one and really shines on larger forums. I run it over on TurboBuick.Com

Hell, there is a new forum package thats just hit the market that makes VB look pitiful. Im considering switching all my forums to it. Its call Xenforo and its by the original VB team.
