Season 4 of Jay Leno's Garage on CNBC starts Thursday 4/19 with episode 1 "Movie Cars" but next week's episode 2 "Over the Top" is listed with a different Rovi Series ID so a current OnePass should pick up episode 1 on 4/19 but if you opt to get a OnePass for episode 2 right away then episode 1 and any reruns you want to watch will need to be recorded manually. Unfortunately, this means S04E02 and beyond will be grouped separately.

 

More confusion with Jay's Garage. Now this week's episode on 4/26 titled "Over the Top" seems to have reverted back to the original Rovi Series ID #SH0334157596 and next week's episode on 5/3 titled "The Motor City" has the new Series ID #SH0349103679 which was previously assigned to this week's episode. I kept the OnePass for 5/3 and set up a manual recording for the 4/26 episode, but who knows what will happen when the next episode gets added to the database.

We know Rovi's guide can be unreliable but this is ridiculous. Yet again, tonight's episode of Jay Leno's Garage on 5/3 titled "The Motor City" has reverted back to the original SeriesID after initially being listed with the new SeriesID. If this trend continues, next week's episode on 5/10 titled "Down and Dirty" will also revert to the old SeriesID a few days before it airs.
