On my Premier XL, I've had Ray Donovan on my season pass list for years. This year I noticed that it was not scheduling the recordings. After playing around with the season pass options, I changed the option for Recordings Only, to Recordings and Streaming. Now, its scheduling the recordings on Showtime.

Is the Recordings Only option broken? Has this changed recently? I'm pretty sure I've had it set to Recordings Only for years and it worked properly.

No, Recording Only is not broken. What may be happening is the pass is set to a specific channel and would only record from that channel There is an option to record from "All Channels"

You should not have "Recordings and Streaming" set as streaming would not get recorded.

other reasons an old SPass stops working:
    * Rovi changes the series ID, so it no longer matches.
    * your provider changes the channel lineup designations (such as when my cabler added a 'P' to all Pacific feeds)
    * metadata no longer has the proper air dates, making the system think a new episode is a rerun
    *etc.
Did you view the TDL history?

    Thanks for the quick answers.

Forgot to mention, that it was always set for channel 732, which for my Comcast cable is Showtime HD and has been recording there for the past few years. When I noticed the recordings were not scheduling this year, I first changed it to All Channels and set it to record everything. Waited a week and still nothing scheduled. That's when I changed the option from Recordings Only, to Recordings and Streaming.

Never had this issue before. I even deleted the Wish List, waited a few days and started over. Same issues! Something strange is going on here.

oh, wish list? not season pass? But can you create a new Pass? (I assume we're talking the TE3 interface, HD menues not SD?) If you go to the live guide and find the show, does the episode info give you the option to create a new Pass vs. changing an existing one? That's a sure sign that the old method has been tainted somehow. Create a new one from the guide, but keep the old one just in case? And select "all" or "new & repeats" rather than "new only". (I'm advising blind here, as I don't have streaming as an option on my menues)

Sorry, I meant to say Season Pass, not Wish List.
I did create a new one by selecting this Sunday's show from the Live Guide and it is working. Guess we'll never know how the old one got corrupted.
    Thanks again.
