No-they are not compatible. Presuming you mean a HDTV Tivo?
Not likely to happen anytime soon either. They use different technologies.
UVerse is really IPTV, while QAM/ATSC are always on broadcast technologies.

    Northern...
You can only use an SD Tivo with a UVerse set top box. No HD.

    Okay, installation complete.

The bad news is no, it's not yet compatible.

The good news is that I have two HDMI ports on my TV and 90% of my shows were the primetime shows on broadcast (local) channels. I have it set so HDMI1 is connected to TiVo as OTA, allowing me to use TiVo to record ALL of my favorite broadcast shows (in HD!).

I have a few favorite cable ones. Those I am recording through U-Verse through HDMI2.

This is almost wonderful, in fact. I can record two shows on TiVo while I record up to 4 shows on U-Verse while I watch one show live.

This basically means I can record 6 shows at once while I watch 1 live.

LOL, it will never come to that, but I am pleased with this setup. If I wanted to, I could even access Netflix through HDMI1 as well.

Nevertheless, my worries have turned into happiness, and I thought I'd share with those who might come to adore my set-up. :)
