Is the A95 Mini Vox as reliable as the A92/93?

I've had the A92/A93 Minis and still have 2x A93 that are going strong. One just hit 5 years as well. No issues. I don't stream on them, only use for Comcast cable channels from my host Roamio Plus (I stream with Roku or Apple TV devices).

I did grab a couple A95 Mini Vox boxes from Best Buy a couple weeks ago just in case since they were on sale for $129.99. I can still return them in a couple weeks if needed, but debating if it's even worth replacing my last 2 A93's or not. I do have 4x of the A95 and they work just fine as well, but the oldest of those 4 is about 19 months.

Mainly curious if anyone has had issues with the A95 Vox units over longer periods of time, or if I would expect the same super long life and reliability that the A93 has shown. I have too much of an "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mindset. But I can probably get $70 back on ebay for each A93 so if the A95 can also get me ~5 years, it's worth upgrading. Thanks!

Keep the A95s and sell the A93s as they are least reliable.

I had 3 A93 Minis working with my Roamio Plus over MoCA. I upgraded to the A95 Minis and I started getting some random disconnects. I ended up getting a MoCA 2.0 adapter and connecting it to the Roamio Plus via ethernet and that solved the problem.

Don't know why the Roamio Plus's internal MoCA didn't like my A95 Minis as much. I know the A93s and the Roamio Plus both have MoCA 1.1 and the A95s have MoCA 2.0, but that really shouldn't have caused problems. But for whatever reason it did for me. I could have just switched back to the old Minis, but I really like the faster processing power of the new Minis so I wanted to find a way to make them work if possible.

A little over a year ago I bought a goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter and placed it near my cable modem and router. Sharing from my Roamio Plus (the Roamio has the MoCA OFF since ethernet connected now) feeding the A95 boxes has been perfect (3 of the 4 are on MoCA). My two A93 boxes are one ethernet and an ethernet bridge, so not affected by MoCA.

Since my A93 Minis are not on MoCA, I'm only really thinking of the upgrade for those two since newer life. But truth is, no issues in usage (yet) with the A93's.

All right, decided to keep and use the new Mini Vox boxes. Will sell off the A93's. Thanks for all your feedback.

Just curious, what is the best way to sell a TiVo Mini Vox (A95)? I have one that I never use anymore.
