I have some shows that are just piling up on my DVR, some were previously must watch shows and some are new.

Below is my list and approximate number of episodes:

    Heroes (4)

    Entourage (6)

    The Mentalist (Full Show)

    Fringe (4)

So should I go back to:

    * watching
    * not watch at all
    * wait a bit to see if if gets better

I'd watch the Mentalist for sure. Drop Heros, watch Fringe if you have time. Not sure on Entourage since I've never seen it.

I think Heros gets better in those saved episodes and Fringe is pretty darn cool.

I'd rank the shows from best to worst:

    Entourage
    The Mentalist
    Heroes
    Fringe

The only one I'm considering deleting the SP for is Fringe, which kind of feels like a waste of my time. Heroes has been good enough in the past that I'm willing to keep watching even though it's been floundering. The Mentalist is a fun show, kind of reminds me of Magnum PI for some reason. Entourage is great, I think better this season than recent seasons.

The last couple of episodes of Heroes have been great! It's really starting to lead up to something.

Fringe got better after the first episode. It's kind of gradually getting a bit better with each storyline.

    My two cents...

Heroes (4): I am only 1 episode ahead of you and I say stick with it.

Entourage (6): For the love of all things Vince you have to keep watching. Like all seasons of Entourage, it meanders a bit, but the ride has been fun this year. WATCH IT!

The Mentalist (Full Show): Don't know, never watched or recorded. It seemed too much like watching Psych played straight instead of for laughs.

Fringe (4): I am right where you are, but I am going to continue to watch and catch up because it is one of the only Sci-Fi type shows my wife will watch with me.

Here are my choices for the same 4 shows:

    Heroes (4) - wait
    Entourage (6) - watch
The Mentalist (Full Show) - watch
    Fringe (4) - skip it

    Excellent responses

    Particularly MegaHertz's
    So for now I will:
    Watch Entourage and the Mentalist

Wait on Heroes and Fringe (might skip this one)

I'd say give them all a chance.

Heroes did have a rocky start but it is finding its feet now.

Fringe was equally rocky but there is some interesting interplay between various person or persons now that makes the show worth watching.

Entourage has been pretty good all season with only one or two missteps. That's par for the course with Entourage.

I don't watch The Mentalist so I can't comment on it.

Entourage has been excellent the whole season, especially the last few episodes.

I'll join in. I have three eps of Pushing Daisies saved up, and so far (IMO) this season's sucked. Should I stay, especially considering that ABC hasn't (and probably won't) order a back nine?

I love Fringe. Skip The Mentalist. Entourage is a chore for me to watch too. Heroes has pretty much rebounded...it's good again-but not Season One Good. But still good.

I dropped Fringe already. Like the Mentalist. Stick with Heroes.

I also appear to be collecting Daisies. :( Too bad too as I LOVED it last season, but could not get into it after the season premier.

Another to the list: Californication, My Own Worst Enemy

I've been very surprised at how un-Psych like The Mentalist is. It has actually become one of my more anticipated shows.

Watch the Mentalist. It's pretty good.
Fringe - I'd say drop it based on the first episode. Haven't watched since then.
The others - your call. Haven't watched at all.

Weird... I'm enjoying Pushing Daisies this season. It bodes ill, though, that it can't beat that god-awful Knight Rider show.

I say watch Entourage, then Heroes, then Fringe if you are bored. Haven't seen the Mentalist so I can't comment.

If you have any interest in police procedurals then The Mentalist is top notch. One of the surprising shows of the season for me.

Fringe I have been unable to get into after several attempts.

Entourage, I have watched from its inception. I would have to know more about you to recommend it. I think it appeals very strong to males 18-45ish and not much to anyone outside of that.

I am still trying to watch Season 2 of Heroes while this season backs up.

The only show on your list that I watch is Heroes. The early shows in Season 3 weren't great, but the last few have been. IMO, it's a keeper.
