iPhone or iPad app

    I am supposed to be able to transfer shows to the iPad from my Bolt, but so far, every time I use the TiVo app on my iPad or iPhone it trashes my network. By this I mean I lose connectivity to all wifi devices and need to restart router when I open the app while on my home network. When on cell only, I can connect, but he speed for transfer is so slow, it's useless.
    Looking for any ideas to troubleshoot.

    I have a lot of bad problems with the iOS app too, e.g. downloads very slow, fail often, etc.. (have tried to get in touch with tivo a few times, and in fact have a PM conversation here I should get back to at some point).

    but I honestly have no idea how it could "trash your network".

    I'm not saying it's not happening to you, but that's VERY much different from any experience I've seen.

    I suggest writing up a report on the forums on tivo.com itself.
