iOS app streams fine but downloads give "Error 58"

    Situation: on an iPhone XS, I can stream from my TiVo Roamio just fine. But, if I try to download a show to my phone, the download initiates but immediately throws "Download failed. Try again. Error 58 : 7"

    Uninstall/reboot/reinstall of the TiVo iOS app does not fix. Same error happens on shows recorded yesterday or a year ago. Happens for HD and SD shows.

    Anyone else have this problem and able to solve?
    Or, ideas on how to solve?

    Would you believe... a third uninstall/reboot/reinstall did the trick?
    Yes, that's what did the trick. No idea why that was the solution.
    Thought I would share with the group, in case there is another soul out there with the same problem that I had.

    I had this same issue on 12/6/2018 … "Download failed. Try again. Error 58:7" on my Android phone. I was able to stream recorded shows to my phone, but I was unable to download them. I was able to correct the problem by uninstalling the app on my phone and re-installing the app from the Google Play Store. After I logged into the app and setup streaming, the download feature worked correctly.
