Intsalling Tivo OTA and one mini with modem/router?

    I have the OD Antenna installed cable rough in .
    Do i need a moca filter between anntenna and power splitter ?
    My plan on hook up .
    Antenna - moca filter -4 way power splitter . top input splitter
    Cable input -2 way splitter -1 cable to router/modem/ # 2 cable
    feed #1 bottom of 4 way splitter .
    3 spare outputs from way splitter .
    2- cable to tivo living room
    3- cable bedroom mini tivo
    4- cable antenna only tv to extra bedroom

    Main reason asking .In case I need to order any parts . I hope 3 weeks to be and working

    The incoming CATV cable should go directly to the cable modem. Unless the cable modem has a moca router built in, you will need a moca adaptor between it and the antenna cable network. You never combine the CATV incoming signal on the same lines as the OTA antenna.

    Would it be better to run Ethernet cord from TiVo and mini back to router ?

    Going back to your first diagram, if you can separate the incoming cable company coax entirely from the rest of the common coax lines going through the amplified splitter, that would be the best.
    Then connect the Roamio to the router via Ethernet and if you also can get Ethernet to the mini, you will be good.
    You don't mention what amplified splitter you are using but many of those are not MoCA friendly. In your situation, if you can use Ethernet to both the Roamio and mini, it will be a much simpler setup.
