Just one week away from the TWO YEAR anniversary of starting this. Time sure flies.
That's pretty hard to find something, but that's what ctrl + f is for. Thanks!
I saw Lincoln Heights the other day it is really really good! I think I might have to check it out every week!
Someone pour some honey on me. I'm not sticky again!
Still needing to be sticky again...
I guess the walls around this place are so dirty nothing sticks easily anymore.
i almost feel bad for doug talking to himself all weekend...
What a great list! Thanks, Doug!
That's not necessarily the case -- I haven't indexed everything yet, and from glancing through the list of un-reviewed threads, there's a lot of missing episodes discussed that had various variations in spelling in the thread title
What are you talking about?
Not sure how you did it (and I guess I don't need to) but thanx. I love being able to watch old shows and read the threads about them. I more of lurker, so it really works for me.
Has the index stopped being updated? I don't see the last few Lost episode threads.
I've just slowed down, as has the number of new shows aired; people keep not including season/episode numbers in thread titles so when there's an abundance of things I have to look up, I'm not particularly in a hurry to bother. I get to it every couple of weeks. When things pick up, I'll be more timely. It's just tiresome right now, especially with all the realicrap stuff I have to look up.
Usually when I notice a thread where someone has been considerate and included the season/episode info, I run through the index update pretty quickly. Hint Hint.
And here I thought it was automated...
The data collection process and thread posting process is automated, but it requires a manual review of the collected, unindexed threads to place them in the proper category and assign appropriate season/episode info.
So basically every one in awhile I go to a web page that presents each unindexed new thread and I select a show, type of thread, and season/episode info for it and click a button. From then on everything else about listing that thread in the index is automated. Just that initial categorization isn't.
Hey Doug, is it possible (and not upsetting a certain someone) to index UK General Chit Chat for TV show threads posted there?
Yeah, I've been meaning to do that ever since the powers that be made that stupid decision. There's just so much non-TV-related stuff there I probably just need a way to selectively choose threads to incorporate into the index. Should be simple enough; maybe Sunday I'll take some time and work it out.
What's going on with not being able to access the Full Index? "Personal attacks supported by the Moderator"? What's that all about?
