Doug, this is really cool and I'm sure has taken a ton of work. I really appreciate it.

Having said that, what is the best way to use it? Is there a way to go to that site, bookmark it with all the shows that you follow, and then have it sort through all of those based on most recent posting? If that were possible, I'd find it very useful as I could then follow all the threads that have to do with shows I watch and see when any of them have been added to. However, as it is, it seems that unless the show is very obscure or the episode is fairly old, it would be easier to find the thread in the regular Now Playing Forum. Am I just using it wrong?

Also, is there a way to collapse the list so the page is relatively short and then it only has to load the information for the shows that you choose to expand? This would allow for collapsing of shows that are currently not airing or on hiatus, and also for collapsing of prior seasons of shows so that the list is not so humongous.

Any advice you can provide would be appreciated.

I hadn't thought of the idea of merging all the threads from shows you're interested in so as to give a single list in post or thread creation date order. Right now as you've seen you only have options to see them per-show, though you can create a personalized bookmark for all the shows you're interested in.

I've generally found I use it for a single show at a time myself -- usually I'll catch things in Now Playing since I do tend to watch pretty close to original air time and day, but once a shows isn't in the top 50 or so threads in the forum, I'll go to the index. So rather than keep a big bookmarked list of a lot of shows, just select the one show when I need to from the drop down.

I'll see if it's easy to make an option to see the most recent X days of threads all merged in a single list based on your selected shows.

Hey I just clicked on this for the first time. It's a real cool and quick way to focus on threads about shows you're interested in.

    Very Googleish.

    *thumbs up*

Sorry about that... a parsing problem was keeping the script from generating the posting update.

The link at the top of the post of the index is to a page where you can access data from the database directly; if the index post isn't updating in the future, you always can go to that page and look directly.

isn't there a term for posting i that manner? I wont say what i think it is because it's potentially offensive and i know it's not your intent ;)

wonder why they unstuck it? wouldn't it be a better use of resources just to stick it again

I PM'd David Bott to get my '2006/7 premier dates for premium cable scripted shows' thread made sticky earlier this year and heard back from him almost immediately. Shall we send messages on your behalf, supporting your thread?

Obviously no one who matters is watching this thread, so how do we get someone's attention to make it a sticky again?
