Not much of a plot to it, though.

I'm now watching the Yule Log DVD version of Martina McBride's "White Christmas" album. A crackling fire and my favorite country chanteuse. Could not ask for a better combo. And it's autographed by Martina herself (or at least her personal assistant :D).

Does yours feature a disembodied hand poking a stick at the log every few minutes?

LOL!!! The Netflix version looked like they used real logs. The Cable version looked like a gas fire. The cable one in our area was on something called GMC. I got it mixed up with GNC and thought it was advertised by a health supplement store. Looked it up on the intertubes and it was something called the Gospel Music Channel. Ugh, commercials and some non-standard preachy carols. We fast forwarded through the icky parts. Gospel Music Channel? <shrug> Maybe a channel I took off of my Tivo.

    Sheesh.

Really. My sister's cable company had it on for hours and there is a streaming one on Netflix.

Plenty of free versions on Youtube if you have a Tivo.

Many cable companies show it on channels you already paid for.

Yeah, Time Warner always had it free. I'm a DirecTV guy and they wanted $4.99.
