I just got an email that I get free HBO until 9/30/17.

Obviously #1 on your list should be Game of Thrones. I'm assuming you get OnDemand as well? If so check out a bunch of older series that may or may not still be available. Boardwalk Empire, Deadwood, Sopranos, first season of True Detective.

Of the current crop, I like Silicon Valley.

If you are into politics, try John Oliver's show and Real Time with Bill Maher (warning, if you lean right politically you may not enjoy those shows).

I like their boxing cards and Real Sports, but they may not be your thing.

I saw the first two seasons of Game of Theones (gifted DVDs) and I did not like it.

I have seen/ own a lot of the older stuff.

I need to see if On demand will work...

You should be able to use the HBO Go app on TiVo or another device.

Are you on DirecTV? If so, it should work. I got gifted Showtime a couple of months back and OD works. I never tried to see if the Showtime app worked on my mobile/Roku

Saw both seasons of True Detective. First was better.

Silicon Valley on the list - thanks!

Ahh, ok. Not sure what FIOS will let you do. DirecTV gave me Showtime out of the blue for being a long time customer (and I guess not begging them for a ton of stuff in the last couple of years :) ). I didn't know FIOS did that sort of thing as well.

Yes! "The Leftovers", "Big Little Lies", and I know you don't generally like comedy, but "Veep" is a riot!

Did you ever read "Game of Thrones?"
That was the first thing that came to mind. Thought you'd love it. I mean, it is soooooo good. ;-)

No GOT. Tried it and didn't like it. Big Little Lies is first on my list. The Leftovers may be good and I should try Veep. Thanks!
