I am having Purple lines run across the TV

    I have went to a different output with no lines so i know its not the tv, tried a different hdmi cable and restarted the tivo box but the purple lines still show up. Is there any fix to this or what should i do?

    Atlantic...
    I had that problem years ago with a receiver that had a HDMI switch built in. The HDMI circuit went bad. I had to use the componet output on it.

    The problem with that is it doesnt have any other outputs as far as i know

    Have you tried the TiVo in that other (functioning) input?

    Your tv has multiple hdmi inputs. Have you tried the TiVo in these other inputs?

    Good to hear. You may also try other devices in that flawed input. See what happens.
