    Potato and pen.
Can someone tell me about the Humax T2500? Someone's looking to sell a Lifetime unit, but it's a Humax. From the looks of things it isn't a DVD player or recorder.

I've never heard of any Humax TiVos that didn't handle DVDs.

What's up? How'd I miss hearing about this model?

Single tuner model, as are all S2s except the TiVo brand TCD649080/TCD649180

I have a Humax T-800, it was/is a Series 2 that came with a 80 GB drive, I believe the only difference from the T-2500 was the size of the hard drive (the T-2500 came with a 250GB drive).

They are your garden variety Series 2 TiVos, other than the front panel I found no difference compared to my TiVo TCD540080 Series 2.

    Good Luck,
