Humax was nice enough to replace my DRT-800 twice, but when the 7.2 software was uploaded by TiVo the double press issue cropped up each time. I don't know where to go next with it, seems to be a combination of the Humax hardware and the 7.2 software. Anyhow my main comment is the double press issue is still an issue.

I'm still having the double-click problem which is very annoying.

Another problem has cropped up with one of the recent software updates. Pressing left while watching a show takes me to Now Playing rather than the program listing. It still works this way on my other Tivo units and used to work on the Humax.

I don't think it's due to the double-click problem as it almost always goes to now playing. I did see it go to Tivo Central a couple of times with a brief appearance of the now playing list which is a double-click problem.

IIRC, both our Humax and Toshiba work that way (left arrow brings up NP) It has to be confusing for you with Tivos functioning differently...

OTOH, one can view this as a "feature"... right arrow (or Info key) to get program info, left arrrow to quickly go to NP (another option besides the NP button).

We still don't have the double-click problem on Humax (cross our fingers).

    --------

Later: on our Toshiba , the left arrow returns us to NP from a paused screen or playing a show. If we right arrow, it brings up the info banner. A left arrow then hides the info banner-- it does NOT return us to NP.

Is that how your Humax works?

I spoke with a manager in Tivo support yesterday. They have no timeframe on a fix even though its been going on for 8 months. Lame

That is a software bug that is not unique to the Humax units. You may not have seen it on the other units because (a) they haven't gotten the update yet or (b) you haven't initiated a transfer after a reboot.

Are you talking about transfers to say a laptop using TiVo to go? And you think this triggers the double press issue! I'd have to say I didn't notice the double press issue immediately after getting the 7.2 software.
