HRT 10 250 DirecTV Please make a daily call soon

    After decades with DTV my TiVo unit cant make a daily call. Every day a new message like the above. DTV tech support doesn't seem concerned. Should I be? Everything save the daily call works like it ever was.

    Dialup for any Tivo has died.... so... if you want it to connect, it must be over a network.

    Ignore the message, annoying as it is. If you had “hacked” the HR10 (still can) you could disable this prompt.

    The HR10 doesn’t need dialup for normal operation.

    So this is a DirecTV/ATT issue? Nothing wrong with my unit. Good to hear. No way to connect this to a network that I know of. Thanks
