We mostly watch recorded shows with a few streaming shows (Stranger Things, Handmaids Tale, Grand Tour).

This is a great question for Tivo owners which could be expanded on which I would think very useful information to Tivo. I would enjoy participating in such research if it improved the experience as we spend a lot of our entertainment budget on TV.

    Guessing that we spend:

50% live TV mainly because of sports (when my teams are doing well).
    30-40% recorded
    10-20% streaming

We don't have Netflix and when we stream it's Amazon Prime and YouTube. I keep my My Shows at 30% capacity as a rule so that nothing just sits there unwatched. It's same with our all of our stuff: something new in = something old out.

I record all the golf I can get. Don't watch all of it, though. FF fast forward and delete most of it.

Mostly recorded. The only consistent streaming I do is watching my games that don't happen to be aired locally, available for recording. Many shows I watch air concurrently. Like Walking Dead and random varieties of reality shows.

We do watch a few network shows, all recorded. Even record the late shows but only watch if the guests are interesting. I record a lot of pbs, nature and science shows. I record football to start watching at half time. Not worth spending 4 hours in front of the TV to watch....the Bills! Most games I can watch in 45 min. Stream only Amazon Prime. We found many shows and movies that have been good. Quit Netflix a while ago. Other than Stranger Things, nothing interested me to pay for it. We do stream music every day. Pandora, I heart and now my favorite is YouTube music. I have zero issues streaming probably because I use an Ethernet connection, so don't really need anything but my Roamio!

I would guess 75-90% recorded, depending on the time of year (normally fall would be when it swung to 90%, but this fall is starting to look pretty barren...).

Mostly recorded, almost nothing live except news.

I only watch originals on streaming (Hulu, Netflix, Prime). I very, very rarely will watch something on streaming that originated on broadcast.

Some of my favorites are streaming originals, they just don’t make up a large percentage yet.

Probably 80/20 Streaming. Netflix/Prime/Hulu obviously but If see an HBO/Showtime/PBS movie/series I will jump to my streamer ATV app as well.
Sports(Hockey) is live so I don't record that.

That leaves maybe 5 shows - 1 broadcast and 4 cable shows. My wife probably does the most in the cooking genre and yes the recorded option allows her to blast through very fast.

We do have news on during the day for background but its not recorded.

If everything was available streaming forever AND I could watch (reality/news/documentary) faster than real time, I would probably watch little recorded...

but I tivo as backup and IF the episodes are still avail streaming when I watch, then I watch that way (without commercials).
