Wow, very interesting. I was fairly certain Stella wasn't the mom, but it's definitely going to take some work to explain that if she's not.

Do we know Ted was living there? We know Robin was living at Ted current place but I don't remember anything else living there. I assume he still does but I don't think we know that for certain.

I BELIEVE we know that Stella supposedly lives in NJ since she referred to a motel 'just down the turnpike'. Don't know if that means anything or helps, but just thought I'd throw it out there

 

The wife and I both thought this was a very great episode.

The "meaty" line was hilarious.

I am pretty comfortable in knowing that if the mom is someone who has not played an actual major role on the show she has not been on the show yet.

Which means some cellphone girl bumpee is not the mom.

 

Of course they could explain it that way. But I'm talking about in the context of the show.

 

They don't have to address it at all in the context of the show because the issue hasn't come up in the context of the show.

 

Will Forte was, as always, excellent.

I hope Sarah Chalke's Stella is a recurring character for a while.

I laughed out loud at the married friend's schedule, what with Boggle and 27 Dresses planned for the evening's festivities. A friend of mine and her husband are very much the same way, and before they moved (career opportunities), we'd always hang out together, go see movies, grab some dinner, et al, which is always fine with me, as I'm a real homebody.

 

Cheese plate at 7...

Boggle at 8...

27 Dresses at 9...

and everyone's home by 11.
