How do you manage Closed Caption with new update?

I have Roamio OTA. With the latest update, CC has changed to transparent. I no longer have any way to manage the look of CC. I can only turn it on/off.

Am I missing something or is TIVO regressing its options for the hearing impaired?

You must be missing something. Try tuning to a live program, then go into the Settings menu and turn CC On, then you should be able to customize the color/text/font etc options from there.

Holding the B button still toggles CC on/off and now also toggles a background.

CC settings is now under "User Preferences". Newly added parameter is Container color and opacity.

    That parameter was there before.

What does this mean? I played with "B", and it does what it's always done, toggle captions on/off.

Same here. I don't know how it could do both as there are several options for background and I don't know how it could do both anyway.

The update now includes the background and the container. Holding B toggles CC and I thought the container/background is toggled off on the second time, but it just stuck on.

Background and container options were there before the update.
