I have a Tivo Q (cable owned) box with a WD 1 TB drive connected. I know that eventually it will fail and I'll replace it with a larger drive. I'd like to have a paper copy of the list of recordings I have now, so I can replace some of the movies, etc. that I have with newer recordings from premium cable.

Is there a way to do this?

I know I can write them on paper but I was hoping for an easier way.

If a Tivo Q works like any other Tivo you should be able to pull up the NPL in a browser via its IP address such as:

    https://192.168.x.x/nowplaying/index.html
    user: tivo
    pw: your MAK.

If all else fails take a picture :)

A paper copy is probably unnecessary -- just keep a file like mentioned above!

You could also transfer those recordings and have backups.
