    Long...
So there definitely does seem to be something ancestral developing around those with powers... I suppose that's where the whole Hiro storyline delves as well.

No shirtless Peter this time around. :(

    Nice previews, though. :)

Best episode of the season so far.

Glad they gave some attention to some of the other non-Japan, non-Ireland storylines.

Also that's an interesting power burger girl has -- to be able to do anything she sees others do. I wonder what limits exist on that power.

I guess when they called this season "Generations" it wasn't just 'cause it sounds cool... :D

It has to be on TV though, I think.

I'm hoping she can only do normal human things, and does not become another Peter or Syler. If she sees Claire regenerate or Wes fly, she shouldn't be able to do those things.

Agreed -- best ep so far this season. The others have been pretty desultory and I was getting a little impatient. But this one had some good suspense and the additional bonus of being the last episode before... jeez, this is hardly a spoiler, but...

before Kristen Bell arrives on the scene.

Idle question: did we ever find out last season what Mama Petrelli can do?

    Carrollton,...
Burger girl seems to have the old "photographic reflexes" that Deathstroke, the Terminator had. She needs to watch some action movies.

Molly and Mohinder... didn't Suresh see a gifted boy in India that could enter his dreams? Why can't he have Molly "find" him and see if he can help.

Also, I'm wondering if one of the previous generation wasn't suppressing the powers of the younger people and when he or she died, everyone's powers activated at once?

We still don't know what a lot of the first generation can do.

    Linderman -- can heal things
    Bob -- transmutation.
Mr. Parkman -- something very bad. He might be another power absorber. He can see Molly when she sees him. We else can he do?

    Anyone else?
    Neither Petrellis, nor Kieto yet.

It took four episodes, but Molly's mental scream finally brought back the season 1 type thrill for me. :)

    Mama Petrelli?

    I'm not so sure.

With all that breaking glass in the holding room at the police station, I wonder if she's got the same TK power that Sylar's first victim had.

We already know the same power can show itself in more than one person.

I'm starting to wonder if Matt's father might be the first time we see a parent and child with exactly the same ability.

Molly said the 'really bad man' couild see her if she made contact with him.

This suggests to me he's some type of telepath, and Matt may have only discovred the simplest use of his own power. He may be able to do more than just read minds.

His father seems able to do much more.

    Speaking of Matt's father...

Just a little trivia - his father in the photo, is the same actor who played Grunberg's dad on Felicity.

Errr, you're confusing Deathstroke with the Marvel villain the Taskmaster, who has photographic reflexes.

I don't think what Monica can do is just limited to TV and I think that she would have some physical limitations of strength and so forth. However, watching some Bruce Lee movies would certainly help Monica.

I'm thinking Parkman's dad's power has something to do with being able to give people nightmares, or make them see scary visions. I don't remember if Mama Petrelli's cuts were shown to come from her attacker, or maybe she was trying to scratch something she saw off of her.

It seems the powers are about the reverse of Parkman Jr. Parkman hears people's thoughts, his dad seems to project thoughts into people.

As for Burger girl. Her powers are pretty cool. But did Micah do something to her? He was hugging her, and it seemed he was doing something. Her powers have something to do with the TV. Micah knows about TV's....

Ps. I wonder if the creators were a little influenced by the back story of the X-Files which featured a shadowy group of powerful people who included their children in their pursuits. They even had a similar type photo which was later used to identify the players by Mulder.

When he hugged her, they made a big deal out of showing his hand and raising the volume of the music, as if something was happening. When she then asked him what was wrong. He answered "I just wish I could fix your dreams for you."

So it might just mean he was trying to 'fix' her but can't because she's not electronic.

Or, maybe it means he did fix her, and he doesn't realize it. Then when she was watching the TV, she sort of spaces out as if she's day dreaming. Perhaps she just day *dreamed* for a moment she could do something like what she saw and now she can?

If he *did* do something to her, does that mean Niki's power, although presumably different, is actually because of him, too?
