I stream YouTube through Roku quite a bit, but I don't have YTTV.
Here is something new for you.
With The Growth of Cord Cutting, The NFL is Considering Ditching Sunday Ticket For a Direct to Consumer Streaming Service - Cord Cutters News
If I could get something like what GamePass used to be ... the option to watch with my home team's radio call ... I wouldn't be able to get my credit card out fast enough. Unfortunately - GamePass was completely neutered this year. (And the old option with audio was never available in the US ... legally anyway).
It's been three years since I followed the NFL. Good luck to them.
I'm not sure that comparing FM tuners to ATSC 3.0 is a fair comparison because there is no built-in FM antenna on a mobile device. The wired earbuds act as the antenna. With ATSC 3.0 the signal will be coming from the mobile data and the device has built-in reception for that. Local channels are missing from streaming just like they are for cable. Local news and events are not a direct competitor to streaming and local channels would only be available for live streaming, not on-demand like streaming services. Maybe kids wouldn't watch local channels, but adults probably would.
