    Hi all,
I am having a major issue and i am racking my brain to figure it this out.
My whole goal is to just listen to music and see pictures on my tivo thats it......

About a year ago i installed the zipper on my drive. I had moved soon after and never played around with it until recently. When i checked my system settings it says the backdoors are enabled.

Here is whats on my system information:

    RCA DVR 40 series 2

    Backdoors: Enabled

    Software: 6.2-01-2-321

    Service # 321

I am using a linksys USB 200 m on the back of the receiver hooked up to a linksys WRT54G

I have used Angry IP and i see the ip address of the tivo

I have no software from the zipper or instacake, where do i go from here to listen to my music...

Thanks in advance for your help

What program are you using to serve up the files? The latest tivo desktop versions don't work with 6.2, because it only uses HMO (and the newer tivo desktops use HME)

I use JavaHMO, myself, so haven't messed around with tivo desktop at all.

JavaHMO can be a bit tricky to get running at first, but it contains a lot of additional functionality as compared to Tivo Desktop. If you are only interested in Music & Photos, though, Tivo Desktop is much simpler. Here is a link to Tivo Desktop 2.1, which should work for a DirecTivo.
