Help with

    Hopefully someone can help me with this...

    It appears that Homechoice/Tiscali have changed the box timeout again, and after a brief conversation with their wonderful staff, I was told that they cannot provide any help with any kind of PVR plugged into their equipment (fair enough, I suppose.. :) )
    I had the idea of bodging the irblast / no red dot app to fire off the Homechoice "diamond" button (for those of you that don't know what I'm on about, it's a button on the remote that appears to wake the box up) in the hope that a cron job that sends this signal every hour or so will keep the Homechoice box awake, and save me a scolding from the missus.

    I spent a while tinkering with irtest last night, and got the attached output from the box. sadly irtest2tivo fails every time with the error "got noise", regardless of what frequency I tell the app to use. (for the record, digging through mfs on tivoweb leads me to believe I should be using 50 khz)

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
